Just a heads up, I dont wanna sound like a dick, because I do appreciate the video, it is awesome, but when John is playing his solo, dont focus on James haha. Thank you , that is all.

When I went to the Fnac that summer I had only heard of Dream Theater. I listened to only ONE minute of this song, the inicial solo part and I was completely blown away! I imagine I´m not the only one I suppose.

this song is the most fuckin' epic song in prog!

Petrucci cut his hair and grew it back? I thought it he was a lot cooler on the first instructional video when he wanted to say "im so much better than you''? But he had to do what everybody else did..Now he understands that being like everybody else is the same thing as being nobody else ..Like everybody going somewhere and ending up nowhere, then wanting to go where no one likes anyone anywhere else and is now with someone that is like anybody but their somewhere else..

epic
-
Petrucci :)

@FatJudith They usually open with the first track off their latest album, and they usually end with the last track off their latest album.
Except during the Maiden tour cause they only had like an hour set - then they played their shorter songs.

Were I there, I would have been singing at the top of my lungs with the goofiest damn smile on my face. Especially during the singalong at the end. Really hope they do this one live next time.

Watch my video: Dream Theater - These Walls

@Snyderman41104 They don't play long songs when they are opening, so dont expect In The Presence of Enemies, Octavarium, The Count of Tuscany etc.. they always play short songs..
-
This gives me goosebumbs. So epic song, one of my favourite songs from Dream Theater
-
I'm a straight guy, but i think i love John Petrucci

Pure epicness!

Yea i just got back yesterday. The setlist was As I Am, Home, A Rite of Passage, Constant Motion, Panic Attack, and of course Pull Me Under. It was a disappointing setlist considerign the other incredible songs that they have but it was still an amazing performance! Home especially was awesome.
-
so fuckin epic
-
@Snyderman41104 lol they won't play this, on the maiden tour they're only doing their less 'proggy' songs
-
That's magical.. Unbeliveble
-
8:07 "ohhh" - A shiver up my spine.
-
@RandomGuyBlake54 i agree this is video is just as good as if it were shot by a professonal camera
-
Oh fuck, is that a LCD screen in the back???
-

The song is amazing, and the film too :))

When the whole crowd sings the "chanting" part it's so epic. I love how DT's music can unite people like that. The Count of Tuscany is one of their top five songs for me along with Metropolis pt 1, The Glass Prison, etc. I'm seeing them open up for Iron Maiden this summer. They better play this song!!!

Myung disappears >:(
Holy crap!! I've watched several other videos uploaded by choppog and the video and sound quality is freakin' amazing!! I've never seen this good quality recorded from someone in the audience. Also, this is a great song!!

Thanks dude, much appreciated. The camera I use is a simple Canon Powershot. But they are underrated cameras. All my videos are shot with the Canon Powershot, its not expensive, and its great quality.
