Dusty can be adopted with partner Beepers through our volunteer program. There is no adoption fee. If you are interested please visit our website Flyingcolors-nc.com and follow the adotpion proceedure links. Dusty is a bit nervous of a bird, and still plucks a bit out of habbit. He wears a sock suit to help distract the habbit. Both birds are in perfect health and are social, and somewhat handleable, at 9 years of age. They are expected to live 35 yrs+

Thanks believe it or not they were both surrendered from a pet store. I know who both breeders are and they came from two different states and are both males. But I am glad for people to have educated concerns.

you are wonderful!
...but be careful if they are all from the same clutch, and one is a male and the other a female. they could easily end up mating, and you would have inbred babies...not good. so, start reading up now about how to deal with that, and be prepared for what action you are going to take (you have several choices).

I wish I could adopt but I'm not 25 years old, I don't own a home, I have cats and my mom smokes. I also live too far away.

HUGS No theres nothing wrong with his health. He does get anxiety attacks if separated from Beepers and so they will remain together. we don't ship so to bad you live in texas. We are located in NC and would love someone to come volunteer to adopt them as a pair.
