Margarita Encarnacion T. Martinez

Age 83 of Adrian, passed away, September 18, 2009, at Arbors of Toledo. She was born March 25, 1926, in Melvin, TX, the daughter of Simon & Jenoveva (Ruiz) Trevino. On February 27, 1949, she married Antonio Martinez in Hidalgo Co., TX, he preceded her in death on May 18, 1993. Margarita was a member of St. Marys Parish in Adrian. She is survived by her children; Tony Martinez of Adrian, Daniel & Raquel Martinez of Adrian and Cecilia Wegner of Tecumseh, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters; Delores Aranda of Adrian and Gregoria Rodriguez of Weslaco, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Antonio, two daughters, Guadalupe and Maria and her grandson Matthew Martinez. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at St. Mary of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Adrian, with Rev. Fr. Bob Schramm as Presider. Rite of Committal will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at the J.
