  • may i ask what vegas pro do you use seems they change every 6 months i think 10 is been out a while,, wheres you next adventure take you? cant wait to see the video

  • I used Vegas Pro 9 on this footage (or was it 8?), currently switched to Vegas 10 but have no (real) experience with it so far. Next Project (in 2 Weeks) is Kenia/Mombasa. I keep the finger crossed that we will see this huge fish with the white tots (whaleshark) ;-)

  • just got back from bonaire reefs took a beating with the water getting so hot last year, lots of bleaching,,love the video,i heard vegas pro took a long time to edit hd ? do you still use same camera or have you already upgraded? looks to take great vid's

  • Sorry to hear about the bleaching :-((

Yes, i still use the same cam, very satisfied with the results, no need to switch at the moment ;-)

I use Sony Vegas Pro, but with the HDV codec, I do not cut in AVCHD, cause it's quite slow (you are right). I first convert the footage to HDV (with an automatic script for vegas) and then cutting HDV with Vegas is very fast. With AVCHD most programs are slow, since it needs extensive CPU Power...

  • great hd video, best one yet what software did u edit with? thank's

  • thanks for your comment, I used Sony Vegas Pro to edit this video...
