GEORGE ANDREWS performs recitals of solo and chamber music throughout the United States, Central America, Europe, and in Asia. He has appeared with the Savannah Symphony Orchestra and has been featured on the public television series FOCAL POINT - THE ARTS. For several years he has been featured guest artist on Baroque Series at a 100 year old historic church in Florida.

In addition to his mastery of the guitar, Mr. Andrews is an accomplished classical and jazz bassist and is frequently heard with regional groups in Western North Carolina, and is well recognized for his solo and rhythmic playing.
A bilingual tribute to Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, who has been called the "greatest poet of the 20th century in any language" and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971. A selection of the lyrical Neruda odes set the the background of classical guitar, with female voices reciting in English and male voices in Spanish.
