@bigtasty780915 The deal at the time was that Moneymaker was there having earned his way in from online, and hadn't been around for long enough for anyone to get a good read on him, and to top it off he was consistently lucking out in the tourney. He would go in with nothing coming up to the last card and draw out on it. He was more lucky than good.

i think moneymaker always got an unfair rap. he may not be the greatest player in history, but he is a good, solid pro. he'd definitely take my money, and probably yours too.
