I think this is the day of the General Election so TOTP was sent to the BBC Television Theatre as studio space would have been required to cover that event.

@dalbenton No it's a mistake in the programme. What I meant was graphics seem to pop up on top of Simon Bates's head and this is a mistake in the actual programme. It's not an error on your clip.

Ref:John Famnam-Youre The Voice-I remember watching this the night before my final*inter cert* exam in school and the day after I got this on 7" just based on the strength of this performance alone.Pitty it was the last we ever heard of him.The b-side "Going Going Gone" wasnt so bad either.I would have loved to have heard "Whispering Jack" album but with my pocket money that wasnt gonna happen. tan4post.Ps come to think of it,I also got Bruce Willis "Under The Boardwalk" on 7" also later on.
