  • Hi tchsatori Do you have this entire film? would you put the section when Milo was ordered aboard the train by the two SS men? I love the music that was played from then until they let him get off the train. could you add this section of the film to youtube? Thank you.

  • @Saseav good movie, excellent book!

  • love ballad of a soldier!

  • good movie, good book.

  • To those who like good WW2 war movies- check out the two Russian films "Ballad of a Soldier" and "the Cranes are Flying"...and the Russian Civil War film "The Red and the White". All very good!

  • this is all about the ultimate sacrifice and resistance fighters/civilians being willing to put one's life on the line for one's country in time of war....also a good documentary about train-worker life in general!

  • "I DONT USUALLY WATCH FOREIGN FILM"

I would feel beeing a poor person if I would watch only films from my country, state, region.

Thank you Jiri Menzel for being yesterday guest in Rijeka (thats in Europe, Croatia). And thank you for all your explanations and answers you gave to us after the projection about this film.

  • i DONT USUALLY WATCH FOREIGN FILM, BUT i WATCHED THIS ON IFC (International Film

Cinema) and I laughed at the interesting scene

when the girl got stamped, I loved the music

when milos was taken aboard the train by the
