Several years ago Dom and I had the pleasure of working with James Hill on his inspired arrangement of Ol' Man River. James plays the Kern and Hammerstein song in GDF#B tuning, a variation on his normal low A "Canadian" tuning (ADF#B). For this recording I am playing the mahogany Dominator #4 tenor tuned to re-entrant or high FCEA. This wonderful instrument was built by a great friend and given to me by my wife. Needless to say, it is my favorite uke.
