The Eramosa Karst

These photos were taken on a hike my fiance and I went on a couple of weeks ago. We heard about this place and had to see for ourselves. This is a highly recommended trek to take, if you're interested in hiking and or adventures! These caves are truly something to see, and not to far away, if you live in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek areas! Check them out if you get the opportunity.

Thanks for asking. A karst is similar to a cave. They are underground natural formations and in this case have under gound springs that flow through them as well!

Yes you should check this place out. It's entrance is off Upper Mount Abion Rd. just south of Highland Rd. west. What a great walk and adventure it was. I'd do it again any time!
