  • I live in Manhattan NY Chinatown, where they're sold alive in fish markets. These guys are extremely tough, highly destructive, prey stalker, violent hunters. I believe It's even noted that they can crack an aquarium glass with the force of their limb attack. Highly intelligent and very fascinating, just don't keep around other aquarium pets if you ever want to see them again. Mantis shrimps will chase, punch, jab & spear anything in their territory.

  • It lives in saltwater and it's very common in Southeast Asia. I must say these are tastier than the lobster. I was in Thailand for vacation and I have sampled these. Very cheap over there but expensive exports here. I think you can find these in stores in the West Coast like San Fran for a high price of course.

  • god those are strange little buggers... such a wierd faceish thing in the front...

  • It is a ambush predator and hunter. all around gnarly critter 19.98 in a quality marine aquarium

  • It's a saltwater creature. Not sure how much they are.
