Thresh & Winnow

Threshing and winnowing demonstration from "Grains & Legumes" educational video program about world food crops, part of "The Science of Propagation" series. Propagation of "the big three" (corn, wheat & rice) is demonstrated with seeds. Legumes such as soy beans, peanuts, lupins and lentils are also propagated from seeds. In addition to propagation, students will learn how to harvest, process, thresh, winnow, grind, store and cook with these valuable food staples. The idea for this winnowing sequence comes from Luke 6:1 of the New International Bible(1984).
"One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels."

you want to be careful not to get small stones in the grain, as they will wreck your grinder...

@ycats1000 small stones would not be good for my stone grinder, however I have never seen a stone in my cleaned grain(the shoes/boots were washed before threshing- you never know what I might have stepped in while harvesting!)
