Guitar and drum cover!!

Another cover of Dream Theater's Overture 1928, played by
Nathanael Takema (Natataek on youtube) on drums
and Lodewic van Twillert (Wicky1992 on youtube, this channel) on guitar

Both drums and guitar were recorded seperately to get better audio quality and also to make sure we don't have to do a huge amount of takes to get it both right at the same time.

The drums were recorded with 3 cameras simultaneously, so that explains the change in video quality. The audio was recorded with a pretty good microphone of a camera.

Guitar was recorded 3 times with an HD camera I got the day after we shot the drums.. :'( So that explains why it isn't in sync all the time. Also couldn't edit the guitar video real good because Sony Vegas couldn't handle it, so it couldn't show me the video real-time while editting. Hopefully I can fix that soon.
Audio, as usual, single microphone pointed at my amp.

@d1337n00b I know Nathanael, the drummer in the video, can play it, so yeah if I can play the solo good enough it's definitely worth recording. Already know most of the song, but gave up on the solo after a while :/

Hmm...there are many errors, basically, tempo is wrong in some occasions, non syncronized as well, the baddest part is from 02:45 - 03:00 And the guitar isn't quite clean :\

@cassalinson Yeah for some reason I just can't get that part right, and was hard to put in sync because not every guitar track is the original audio track and had some problems with editting so I couldn't see the actual video while editting. So it was purely synced and editted based on the camera audio which was hard :/ But apart from that section, what's not clean or in the right tempo?

@cassalinson I think you're being a bit harsh - surely this video deserves at least a 7, bearing in mind this is his first done live with another musician, which takes a lot of extra effort to put together. His playing is occasionally out of time, but for a guy who only started to play guitar a couple of years ago, i think its brilliant. A bit of practice with the metronome will iron out the inconsitencies in no time...

There are also a few embossments of tempo in various points, for example at 01:39 during the solo, and in some occasions there are problems of noise.
