How can a religion become a nationality? When you ask any one what their Nationality is, they say Italy, Ireland, or France etc. Ask a Jew the same, they say JEWISH! How stupid and ignorant can u be? HIS MOTHER HAD NEVER LEFT THE STATES,THEREFORE HE WAS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OF THE US.THE CASE HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN THAT THE FATHER'S CITIZENSHIP STATUS MADE ARTHUR INELIGIBLE IN THE 1ST PLACE,NOR THAT ANYONE AT THE TIME WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SO.

@edslides1 becoming a citizen is not that hard. but being naturally born does not mean what the words' imply they mean. it has very little to do with a vaginal canal or it's location when it spits a baby out. look it up and you will find out the birth certificate is an issue that obama used to distract people from the real issues. nat born has nothing to do with exiting a birth canal in the usa or territory's.

Chester Arthur potus #21, was rumored to have been born in Canada, and his father was born in Ireland, and became a naturalized citizen 14 years AFTER C.A. was born.

this was long after the countrys birth, so there was no room for the "citizen before the constititution was formed" arguement

thanks for pointing it out, circus boy! but i love the irony. obama is a textbook example of an "african-American" he was born on the african continent and (somehow) became an American citizen, never mind that he is half white.
