a part of our job requires us to install a couple of 20' steel beams to replace a brick wall and a deteriorating old wood beam. These beams were preprepared with wood bolted on the sides so that the wood floor Joice can be hung on the side. That way the beam doesn't protrude down as much. We are using a 16" beam with 12" floor Joice
