How foolish, surely he could have put the ball into the net and then the keeper could recieve treatment, it would have taken exactly the same time. If anything he was unfair on himself and his OWN team.

For sure fair play. Not sure if this would happen in MLS - but probably the whistle would have been blown so fast it would not have mattered.....as an aside it appeared the goalie was outside the box, no?
