Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Dictionary BUG!

Found this bug while using dictionary - all the previous entries are also shown when you enter a new entry.

I have noticed this too. They only pop up if you close them with cmd+Q. If you close them with cmd+W that doesn't happen.

Have you filed a bug report to Apple about this?

oh ya. tried it with ⌘+W, it is fine.

No, I only post it at the apple discussion / forum site. Any other way to file a bug report?

here is the solution:

go to terminal and copy and paste the following and enter, but make sure you quit dictionary before you start doing this.. so you go to this

defaults write com.apple.Dictionary ProhibitNewWindowForRequest -bool TRUE

then it should be working, coz i tried it and its working

I hate when this happens. Pages 09 is affect by another dictionary bug too. look up a work in pages and the dictionary will pop up with blank page and all of you previous look ups too.
