KCAT - So Many (OUT FEB 12th 2012)

Following the massive recent collab "Out Of Control" with Donae'o & Mike Delinquent Project, KCAT, pronounced as 'Cat', is back with her own solo campaign and it all kicks off with this break filled stomper 'So Many' !!



KCAT finally arrives with her eagerly anticipated solo material after delivering as a featured artist for Mike Delinquent, Bashy ('Fantasy'), and also the Wideboys. Her project is her own creation - She pens her own lyrics, video concepts and has also developed an understanding of music production too. A rarity in the modern music world.

Rubberstamped as a well supported eclectic record, 'So Many' received Radio 1 airplay courtesy of Toddla T, and big 1xtra support from MistaJam, Ronnie Herel, CJ Beatz, Cameo, Nick Bright. Coupled with spins from Capital FM's Sacha Brooks and M.A.S.H, the early radio signs are encouraging while the official video displays Kcat's quirky yet beautiful performance with plenty of personality!

The music fuses a 'breaks-influenced' sound with the tempo of dubstep. It is typical of her innovativeness to have this kind of a merge and future singles also keep to this exciting formula. Additionally, the vocals ooze that unmistakable class that KCAT's voice possesses. A compliment to this project in itself was that Mz Bratt was more than willing to offer her MC services for the outstanding remix version of 'So Many' too!

"So Many" narrates a beginning of a journey for an artist who is ready to make the big imprint with her music and is now ready to 'churn them one by one". KCAT goes on to describe, there's "many where this came from"!!

Judging by this early offering, KCAT is definitely ready to show the world exactly why she should stand amongst the very best, and the future certainly looks to be a very bright one!
