In this Combo tutorial, we take a closer look at some of Kyo's combos and what he is capable of. These combos just about scratch the surface of Kyo's potential and there is so much more he can do. This tutorial aims to help those that want to pick up the game once its released in October. Rather than go for the longest string, I've decided to go for practical combos that can and should be used in matches.

1 - jump+C, Std+C, df+D, dp+A
2 - jump+C, Std+C, df+D, hcb+B
3 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, hcb+B
4 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, b,d,db+D
5 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, orochinagi
6 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, b,d,db+D (2 hits), orochinagi (SC)
7 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, b,d,db+B, b,d,db+B, orochinagi (SC)
8 - Corner: jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, b,d,db+B, b,d,db+B, orochinagi (SC),
b,d,db+B, orochinagi (SC)
EX Combos (Most EX moves generally do more damage)
9 - dwn+B x2, std+B, hcb+B+D
10 - jump+C, std+C, qcf+A+C, dp+C, dp+A+C (DC)
Neo MAX:
11- jump+C, std+C, qcf+D, qcfx2 A+C
12 - jump+C, std+C, df+D, (B+C) run in, std+C, df+D, hcb+D, qcf+D, qcfx2 A+C.
13 - jump+C, std+C, df+D, (B+C) run in, std+C, df+D, hcb+D, qcf+D, b,d,db+B,
orochinagi (SC), qcfx2 A+C.

  • I've really been thinking of picking this game up, but I myself have alot of trouble with combos in SF4, would transferring to this game give me even more trouble?

  • @THELSUCCESSOR Only Capcom uses 3 buttons for punch and kicks. SNKP NEVER did this with any game.

  • @champion5545 the motions are forward, down, down forward. that's a dragon punch motion. it's used in most 2D fighting games

  • I wish there was an update for button layout if you're using an arcade stick. the arcade port has it so why not the console port? I feel like I'm gonna have to buy a HRAP Pro arcade stick now
