and yeah you're rigth aboutriley and sam, being together still becouse there unimportant, but still they are together, and one couple happy together, means theres stille hope, for buffy and the rest, the gang can find rest in that one couple living as crazy as them are having a good realtionship, the gang and i, and yes the tragic breaking up drying way is joss way, rather tahn the happe fluffy puppy way,

Yes it does mean they don't work out. She leaves her for a snakewoman in another dimention that is then closed of from earth forever so they lose each other too. I don't know about Riley and Sam, they might work out, they did seem pretty good together but I still think that it's only because they are such unimportant characters, Sam is there mostly to show us, and Buffy, how much Buffys life sucks at that piont.

@canomia okay so i season 8 they're having troble, but that dosen't mean that they don't work it out..

riley and sam, is what is called and open ending, even in s 8. we don't know if they break up, so in my mind, i like to think that they live (not happily becouse with all those monsters?) a long time together, and are happy together.

@meciska Riley and Samantha only because we only see them one time when they are happy, one of them probably get killed later to. And Kennedy was always just a rebound thing, or that's what I believe, so it doesn't really count, and given a bit more time they won't be so happy. Read the season 8 comic and get the end of their story.
