Your tempo starts to slow as you head into minute 3, so I'd keep practicing.

I like it but i think fluctuations in the tempo would improve the feel of the piece

Yeah. . .people want to hear this song sound more like a romantic classical piece, rather than a chamber baroque piece. It's something that the purists would despise, but everyone else would love.
