I recently moved out of my home. I left my biological family behind. I hurt to do, as I love them, but they were psychologically abusive. This song brings me right back to them, though. Especially my younger brother. It brings me back to the love that I have for him, the strength we shared. I miss him. More than anyone would ever believe.

So many people complain about Winnipeg.. the weather, the people, "there's nothing to do here". They often talk about getting out whenever they can, some end up leaving for good. I couldnt think of a more diverse and tolerant place to live. It's hard to feel like an outsider in Winnipeg
