Halo has some of the best music...really sets the mood. It brings back memories of sneaking around the city and just listening to the music and gazing at the poorly lit, destroyed city and the mystery involved in it. Such a powerful soundtrack really completes it. People say ODST is the worst of the Halo games...I find it to be one of the best simply for the atmosphere. A change from being an armored human tank like Master Chief.

This sort of noir/blues tune was just perfect for Rookie's levels. Combined with the poorly lit, destroyed, rainy city, the atmosphere was just phenomenal.

it's like a bit of jazz mized with some classic piano and some kickass drums.

It seemed the "Halo players" (you know, THOSE players) really got me out of Halo due to there...personality and kind of tainted how I used to see the Halo games.
Playing this and Reach reminded me of when I played Halo 1 and 2 and how connected I was with the story.
From 1, 2, 3 ODST, and finally Reach. The Halo series has finally come full circle. Let's just hope Bungie comes up with a new series though because the war is kind of over and Halo would get stale if it's over stretched.
