The global air travel industry is facing a variety of challenges that have forced aircraft manufacturers to re-think their strategies. American aircraft manufacturer Boeing says that unlike in the past where airlines preferred speed, the trends have shifted to fuel efficiency and passenger capacity. Boeing, whose delayed delivery of the fuel efficient dream liner 787 plane has raised concern, says airlines have already placed orders stretching over the next ten years with the first delivery expected to be made within this year. Our reporter Henry Githaiga has just returned from the Boeing manufacturing plant in Seattle' U.S.A and tells us that national carrier Kenya Airways is among African airlines lining up to take delivery of the dream liner.
do not know where you get your info from but rwandair is not getting the dreamliner last time i checked,
and i would hardly say kenya airways is leading the pack, as ethiopian is getting 787's atleast one and a half years before KQ. pls get your facts right
