In Memory Of Molly

They found out Molly had cancer. She was euthenized on February 16th :( so so sad.

February UPDATE: Maggie has been moved to Greenhill.
Old ad: Maggie AKA Molly is a FABULOUS people-oriented girl! She is VERY sweet and knows manners and commands well. She is good with kids too. She loves to fetch and is good about dropping the ball for you! She is not handling being at LCAS well because of the stress so she seriously NEEDS to get adopted or fostered ASAP. She cannot go to a home with cats. Would do best as the only dog for now. She has had some issues with some other dogs but it is definitely workable. She has been successful going for walks with a few dogs at LCAS. Here is a note from a volunteer dog trainer Micaela: "She is absolutley great with people, in fact, we have taken her to the juvenile justice center to work with the kids. She is extremely responsive. We worked with her around another dog today, she did not start any trouble, came away when asked, and was able to be polite on a walk. She did not appreciate his boisterous approach, and we do have reason to believe that some of her behavior with other dogs is fear-based. I do believe she can make great progress with that. She's a sweetie!" Maggie AKA Molly urgently needs a home! Maggie is a great dog who has been dealt a bad hand of cards. A year or so ago she was at LCAS for the first time and was put on Red Alert status. Later she was adopted. Recently she was found running loose. Apparently the person who had adopted her from LCAS had later adopted her to someone else and she had gotten loose (she is NOT a fence jumper so maybe they left the gate open). So she has ended up back at LCAS unwanted. Sooo sad. Someone please step up in time for this sweet dog! Act ASAP.
