Both '2' and 'Uncle Kage' are normal intelligent people. The persona's they project are whats expected of them at cons. (IMHO). But don't expect a serious conversation in the middle of a Con, their there to have fun and entertain / manage the furry going's on.
Just be polite and you will be fine.
