As far as the media bar and palm-rest go, are there only screws and clips holding them in place, or is there any glue at all in use? I can pry up the right side of the media bar with my fingers and get a brief look underneath, but can't see that anything looks broken, but it won't pop firmly into place as is the case with the left side, which is affixed completely flat. The right side is elevated somewhat and I believe that's what is making it very difficult to use the media buttons.

Hi, I'm having some trouble getting my media bar off. It's kind of tough to make out in the video where exactly you're prying it apart. It seems you're right at the hinge, but I am fearful of applying too much pressure and breaking it.  I've got a refurb and the right side of the media pad isn't laying flat and it's making it very difficult to use those touch-sensitive buttons. I figured I could fix it by removing the media pad and replacing it properly, since it seems they didn't.
