anyone and everyone in carolina, both north and south sings this song at games. its a tradition. just not well known to outsiders. Carolinians dont really care who else sings it. Sweet Caroline to most Carolinians is an ode to the respective states.

haha, i think so too. I'm part of the wolfpack and I was at there when we played Davidson last weekend and I have to say this was my favorite part of the game.

We do it at all the home games. It gets everyone pumped up and now it became like a regular thing, we do it at every game.

The song has no particular significance, as far as the content is concerned. It's just a song that they started playing during the 2006-2007 season at the 8:00 mark of the second half of all home games. The crowd just gets into it, so it's a fan favorite.
