@BugsyMalone82 well done mate. I now have much respect for anyone that has to do that kind of thing! I timed it before and it was around 7-8 minutes, but on the day it was longer due to reactions in the crowd etc. I'd say 10 mintues at least. I have it recorded, but not sure if i'm gonna put it on here, when i get the sd card back ill check it myself and decide if i'm gonna share it....I feel i could now do a speech or reading in public with ease. Best man speeches are the worst!

@jamessential haha I know what you mean. My bro was talking to people weeks after it and they were still mentioning how well a speech I did and how much I surprised them.

@BugsyMalone82 I felt like a celebrity afterwards everyone wanting to buy me a beer, had to turn down so many drinks, way more than i could handle....I nailed it. laughs, tears and a long standing ovation. my only crtisism was not enjoying it as much as everyone else did....but hid the nerves well! don't have a lot of self belief, so it was a good test of character and glad i did it. yeeeeee heeeee!

@kyletitterton Best Man Speechs that don't come prepared always fail. I had been working on mine for weeks, although I didn't practice reading it ( Although I had went over it countless times so I knew 80% of it by heart ) I still managed to deliver a good speech. I'm not even that funny nor am I loud, the very opposite I would say but my speech came off well due to the PREPARATION I put into it.

It's key. You speak wise words. Look for my upload in the coming months

Typical dude who's probably known as a chirpy "funny guy" amongst friends. But it doesn't always make the speech so. As anyone who's done this well will know, you need 3 things - preparation, preparation, preparation.

Write the speech. Practice it in front of someone at least once. The cardinal sin that this guy makes is that I'm at 4 minutes and he's still talking about himself. He should only mention himself in relation to the groom.

But I don't know why I'm complaining I love this shit!
