BASP Pilarcitos Cyclocross #1 McLaren Park 2009

Bay Area Super Prestige Series Cyclocross kicks off Oct. 4, 2009 at McLaren Park in San Francisco, CA. Big turnout with lots of fun including an impromptu "band"... drummer and guitar, "street" performing at the top of the run-up. That's Paul Sadoff of Rock Lobster on guitar and Alex ?? on drums. Great energy at the event. It'll be a great series this year. Tom Simonson, the event promoter, eventually had to come over and ask the band to cool it, as he did not have a permit for amplified music. But it was fun while it lasted! Thanks to Tom and all his staff for putting on these fun events!

Agreed. Don't know who that was, but those barriers were close together, making them hard to hop!

I love the burt backarack all-stars at the top of the hill. cyclocross seems really awesome and really weak compared to mountainbiking .. can't make up my mind. not a fan of the obstacles but what do i know.
