@Intraference did you use any special camera mount to control the distance to the screen?

do you know of anywhere on the internet that these types of videos can be

Cool.. now i don't ever have to try DMT !
Talk about sacred geometry.. totally awesome.. I seen some Maya y Aztec symbolism in there... designs, etc.. maybe they got some of their immigrant through manipulating sound waves? God bless you all.. praise His name and His designs.

Great video, should be uploaded in better quality though. I've done feedback work too but I like the approach taken here.

thanks for the comment - I have a 12 minute piece coming out on the Critical Mass:Kinetica DVD in january - check out ebay seller threshold-studios for that and other video art on DVD

Coool! But try it yourself. It's just video feedback: aiming your camera at the video monitor.
But for fractals you need a mirror too. Hold a mirror perpendicular to the video screen, then aim your camera at the spot where mirror touches screen.
12" mirror tiles are available from Home Depot, Fred Meyer, etc. Or get scraps of plastic mirror from Tap Plastics store.

you might want to consider introducing physical objects, people or a signal from another source into the loop - check out phasia on this channel for instance.
None of the videos on this site use mirrors tho'.
We're always happy to see video art from artists - send us links to your works if you have something you think we'd like.

anyone can set up a feedback loop - its having the control over how the image morphs that's hard. The balance between coherence and chaos lies within very narrow parameters
