@spukymale only reason that Norway is rich, is because of the oil. but the oil will not last forever, the money either. And if you're thinking that we should be not allowd to kill whales, only because we are rich? you need to get your head stright. think before you speak. notice: I didn't say it was wrong or right to kill whales. I just pointed out you use the wrong reasons for having whalehunting banned.

@spukymale Just to put it into perspective for you: Do you have any game hunting in Ireland? I assume you do have that. Why don't you concentrate on making that illegal?
"There's no need to kill deers and other game, is there? Ireland is a greedy country, upholding old hunting traditions that should be banned" ... and so on...
Obviously that sounds absurd, doesn't it? And what does oil have to do with anything? Would you be perfectly OK with our whaling if we weren't a wealthy country?

@zingtea why dont you come up with a more effecient way to make food money and create jobs on an archipielago like lofoten or any place in north norway where summer is a month long and the rest is winter???

It's truly a good thing that they got a new and bigger boat now, I love that people actually hunt whales still, hopefully whalehunting wont go down like sealhunting almost have.... Props to you guys.
