Look at the two most expensive player he's bought, Reyes and Arshavin, who were/are terrible. Mike Ashley is a business man that is making the best profit he can from a team that will NEVER make European football, which is why he has renamed the stadium and only bought when necessary. To be honest I don't like him, but NUFC are doing well business wise and presently football wise.
