  • My Shetland pony, Dolly, would have been so good at this!! I wish I still owned her :(

  • aww your lucky!!xx

  • I know what you are getting at, ponies can be stubborn. But this pony is going as fast as it can and the rider is kicking it.

And size doesnt matter when it comes to stubborness. You havnt met my horse. He would proberbly win the laziest Thoroughbred in the world competion. My friends Welsh Pony is faster and more responsive than my Thoroughbred lol!

  • riding a 16hh horse with friends

is much difrent to a real shetland race and infact she was actully more flaping/nudgeing with her legs encourgeing to keep moving

i race here in austrlia its a very crazy competive sport, wich is equal for anyone age, gender and riding skill not to mention that all ponys are difrent some need a push some dont,

shetlands need moore of a push as they are a smaller version of a draft breed who are very stubborn

  • For your information Tim Tam I do race with my friends when we get together and go out riding, but I do it on a 16hh horse and I dont continuously kick my horse. That idiot on horse no1 doesnt stop kicking that pony through the whole race. The pony is going as fast as it can. Maybe if she got kicked a few times perhaps she'd give the poor thing a break!

  • yup but you have to find were it is but you have to be very confident and guttys "just a warning"

  • you have to be real guttsy => im not sure were the grand national is but it scares the shit out of you

  • actully it isnt the popalur anywhere in austrlia there arnt many races unless there at country race tracks and then i only know of the few i ride in

  • any age as long as your game lol

i ride with a big age group of shetland jockeys from 6 to 19

  • that i would love to see im jsut not going to be the jockey
