Believe me, you'll thank yourself for getting a Merkur or some other quality razor right away. Cheap razors are pretty much a waste of time and money. Besides, some Merkurs can be had for 30 bucks or less and will last a lifetime. If you get an adjustable, it'll probably be the last razor you'll ever need. Anyway, if you wanna be stubborn, I'd go with a Parker. It's a somewhat trusted brand.

@zanuha since i'm new to the whole de shaving thing, i don't want to spend too much. i understand merkur are german made, quality but expensive. i did come across weishi on ebay which is cheap and less aggressive and good for beginners. what other de manufacturers are there in the $10-15 range?
