Tatum was a badass. Good for him. Hope he enjoyed his life now that it's over but he wasn't half the man Darryl Stingley was.

@06cdahn If you are a Chiefs fan, WHY go on PRO-Raders post and talk alot of shit? That makes NO SENSE at all. Nobody here gives two shits about your dislike of a man that has done NOTHING to you personally. Now go look at some Len Dawson, or Willie Lanier, or Buck Buchannon highlights and chill the fuck out. Its NOT THAT SERIOUS. Nobody cares.

@MelC54 Are you gay or what? Jack Tatum's hit on Darryl Stingley was perfectly legal!! Stingley knew the risks just like every NFL player who goes out onto the field. If he was 'sinister', then so was Dick Butkus, Jack Lambert, Ronnie Lott and so on. Were they 'criminals'? Take that tampon out your ass and learn about the game before making sissy-ass comments!

i thought he died by getting hit to hard wtf i confused... but now that ppl are saying he died at 61 from heart attack im thing he died of heart attack

Tatum was still unrepentant until the end and never made amends with Stingley. Tatum was a tiny, tiny little man who wrote books defending his bad attitude and he will not be missed. People like Tatum take things and life way too far, and this is the end result of his madness.

Tatum's hit on Stingley wasn't illegal, but it was a CHEAP SHOT. Had Stingley caught the ball, or was in the process of catching the ball and suffered the same injury I wouldn't have a problem with the hit. Tatum simply unloaded because he could, he wasn't making any effort to tackle Stingley, he just wanted to hit him. He knew he didn't have the ball. Tatum seemed to take some sinister delight afterward in what he considered his "accomplishment". A criminal in cleats...like Ben Davidson.

Anyone can hit a player once they're already down or after they missed the catch because they've already given up. He would've been perfect playing for the 09-10 saints. If ruining a mans life and career makes you a good football player then im seriously confused. GO CHIEFS
