Eq. Contest Entry Newly Revised

Contest entry It got 10th place out of 20 and scored 60 out of and 80 possible points, not bad considering i think my eq. sucks. I have already contacted the judges and i will post what they think i can improve here. :D

legs: you legs are a little loose and over the jumps they really move around, which wont help at all over the bigger stuff or if you ever get on a round horse like addy.

hands: your hands are planted in your horses mane, which isnt all that bad, but it restricts the move ment in your arms. also they remain there when you jump, so you dont release

seat: sometimes when you canter your seat bounces up and down and hits the horse in the back

Jumping Position: Over the fences your back starts out really pretty and nice, but about halfway over your body kinda stops, and then you fall back like you are getting left behind.....

Your seat: When your horse is cantering, you tend to haunch over. I call it a hollow back, where there is a inverted arch in your back, like, sticking your chest and but out.Anyway, you tend to also loose your seat and wiggle your legs around Sit and rock with the horses momentum, as if a rocking horse!

Over all, its really awesome! NICE JOB!

yeah, but the mare i used to ride was nice and slow and she helped a lot, cuz i could take my time, but the gelding i ride now is larger, and very spooky so i have to go for it and just think about it when i jump, cuz if i think about it too much and don't focus he'll run out from underneath me, or spook really bad lke yesterday. haha!!
