  • why does everyone say 'too bad they got labelled hair metal' about their favorite 80's hard rock bands? there's no shame in being hair metal IMO :D

  • @boettger1 I think, that was him, nursing a bruised ego. Was he too drunk or stoned, when he wrote "Tell The World" and "You Think, You're Tough". What about "Wanted Man"?!?! It's so obvious, he was hurt, and Warren's ego, was increasingly, smug. He held out with his addiction in the band for a good four or five years, before his life really went downhill. Beau Hill didn't help, as maybe since Warren, was easier to persuade, towards what Beau was trying to do....rush out, record, after, etc

  • @boettger1 Dude... OFC he was GOOD player... You think the band mates would know? Juan said in a interview... he is AS GOOD as Demartini... in his own way! LOL he would not be in the band without being good.

  • @SD420PacificStoner Yeah, that and the fact that he was too drunk and stoned to bother to learn to play his instrument.

  • @vukboy He WAS a good song writer. I wasn't talking about his song writing. I was talking about his playing.

  • @SD420PacificStoner Yes, I am a musician. Not a good one, but I can tell good playing from lame playing. If Robbin was so good, why did he play exactly zero solos on Detonator? Christ, he didn't even play 50% of the solos on Cellar.

Get real. Talent doesn't necessarily lead to record sales, nor does record sales imply talent. (This isn't a dig against the band; it's just reality.)

  • @mrdouglas51510 Pearcy being a dick? Weird... ;)

  • @boettger1 Thats bullshit!! Not a talented player? LOL He fucking wrote most of the songs!!! He is the KING

  • And Warren Demaritni, might, have ended, up with more skill, but, that was due to, THAT fact, no one, was giving, CROSBY, any CREDIT...

  • @boettger1 Okay, just out of curosity, are you a Musician, how many records have you sold, okay?! How, many has Crosby, sold, I think, you, ARE, gravely, underrating, his SKILLS, check out the Pasadena, Ca gig, that was when he was LEAD guitarist, and I believe the night, or a I think actually, two months, prior, but whatever, he sounded, better than Demartini, to MY ear.

  • @boettger1 I agree 100% DeMartini was the one playing all the ripping solos..... With that said I seen Ratt in 92 in a club in Tampa, FL and neither Crosby or DeMartini played very well live when I seen them. Not to mention Stephen Pearcy was being a dick and kept stopping the show because he thought the crowd was getting too close to the stage, he pretty much ruined the show. Saigon Kick opened and they SMOKED Ratt
