In my personal opinion, Trip-Hop is bassist heaven, but not as easy as it is usually seen: the bass lines are so simple, that are really easy to mess up! Timing es everything!

Skye Edwards used to be the singer of Morcheeba, where her voice fitted in perfectly. After going solo, I discovered this cover she did of Gorillaz tune "Feel Good Inc.". Emma (my bass) is great for this duty (and pretty much every trip-hop song) because of her heavy and chunky sound.

  • I find the timing very hard and my bass is a E bass from fender... for beginners... The sound is not like that at all and i dont know why. Is it because of the bass or do I need a pedal?

  • @RedBloodyBee Fiddle around with the knobs on your bass. Try getting rid of the treble all together.

  • Nice Warwick bro!
