Speaking to the Napa Valley Tweetup Social Media Seminar on March 12, 2010, Paul Mabray (Chief Strategy Officer, Vintank) describes the social media ambush of Yellowtail Winery by a farm advocacy group when their support of the Humane Society on animal rights was mistakenly reframed as being "anti-farm". In the next #NapaValleyTweetup we will have discussions and begin workshops on how to prepare crisis intervention and rapid response for resolving sudden conflicts and engaging parties who have been thrown into juxtaposed mis-perceptions.
