these two great songs are part of the masterpiece album "in serch of the lost chord" by the moody blues from 1968. this is the start of the progressive rock. the songs try to give feelings of wonder when we try to understand nature and our place in nature. scenes from the movie "the fountain". the songs and the scenes are allegory to our quest after understanding where are we living and what is our meaning.
i made these clips as part of my lecture about the beauty of our universe from 2008

Also, it was the time of eastern religons, anything then to pis off our Christian parents who considered any other religon as pagen. Remember the Maharishi Yogi Yadda Yadda the Beatles hung around with. I think he just ended up being a rip-off.
