Mark Milliron has a radical proposal: Why not give learners immediate feedback on their progress? He sees an opportunity to use data and information to increase communication among teachers, administrators, and students. As the Chancellor of Western Governors University Texas he is exploring how new technologies for real-time assessment can open doors to motivated students and empowered teachers.

As a student at WGU Texas earning an MBA in Healthcare Management soon, I can assure everyone that the WGU model of education is successful and will change the course of higher education in this country. Although I earned a B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, my education at WGU Texas has given me "real world" knowledge that will be applied immediately upon graduation. I am impressed with my Chancellor's presentation and encourage everyone to take a look at WGU Texas!
