Should believers tithe under the new covenant as it was mandated under the old covenant, the law? What were the rules of tithing under the old covenant? Were everyone to tithe off of everything?

Money tithing. Unbiblical. / Food & crop tithing limited only to israelites. God want to see your heart not a recuired action. Give if your heart tells you to.

If your church wants to grow and renovate the church and make it bigger to hold more people and share God's word with more people, do you really think it can happen with your little 5 or 10 dollar offering??? NO. Give God back His money. He only asks for 10%. Give cheerfully people or do you love your money more than you love God?

WE ALL SHOULD TITHE! Your money is NOT your money, it's God's money. Give God %10 before the tax man hits it to help the church grow and spread God's word. Luke 21:1-4 Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

Show me this with scripture, what I see is God giving his tithe (this would include Abraham’s if he were present) to the Levites (Num 18:21), God received a tenth of a tenth (Num18:26) this was the Heave offering which was given to the High Priest (Num 18:28). Because the Tithe now belongs to the Levitical Priesthood no one else has the right to claim it, not the other Tribes of Israel, not us Christians, not even Melchizedek

In reading the comments, it states should believers tithe under the new covenant. Well, if you study tithing, you would notice that tithing does not fall under either covenants. Tithing is a part of the promise/covenant between God and Abraham. That same promise/covenant that involved the coming of Jesus Christ. That same Jesus that NT believers claim. Can you claim pieces of the promise that suit you?
