Reduce Shielding Gas Use 50% or More! - - FREE Tech Paper provides full detail. --
When a MIG welding gun trigger is pulled a blast of gas comes out of the nozzle. This blast not only wastes a significant amount of gas it pulls air into the shielding stream that causes inferior weld starts. The information provided discusses a simple Gas Saver System that reduces the surge and eliminates the gas waste and poor starts it causes. Full details of this patented Gas Saver System are available in a FREE publication at www.NetWelding.com.
MIG welders use about 3 to 4 times the gas they need. One fabricator reports welding 632 parts with the same amount of gas they had only been able to weld 236 of the same parts previously. That gas savings was accomplished with the same flow setting! The patented system discussed is inexpensive and unlike some other devices tried over the years welders appreciate the benefits. It does not alter the pressure which eliminates the Automatic Flow Control built into quality flow control systems since MIG was invented! Unlike simple orifices that are sometimes tried the Gas Saver System still provides a controlled amount of extra gas at the weld start to purge air from the weld start area.
