hi, i went fishing for mullet yesterday, there was loads of them, but i just couldnt catch them, is it better fishing on the bottom with bread, or float fising for them?

where are you fishing? sea river? Float fishing is better but you need to get the fish feeding first.I use trout hooks size 10 or 12, most of the time i free line , no float just bread so it floats on the surface. will be able to see them take the bread then.

Throw loads of bread in ..

treble hook. very small one. then float bread. tight pack the hook with bead. drop bread a good foot or two below your float. strike direct up. free spool the line to let float go down or up stream. keep line so you can strike,also strike direct up .

bink182rock you should free line for mullet and use a size 12 hook
