Chapter 18

It was 5:25am, and the girls were all waiting on the front porch for the brothers to come pick them up.
They each had one suit case, filled with their swim suits, beach wears, and everything else.
"Good thing, it's warm, the sky is cloudless, and I bet the stars are beautiful at the beach," Maddy said, looking up at the sky.
"I got one more good thing," Olivia said.
"What's that?" Maddy asked, shifting her gaze from the sky to Olivia.
Instead of answering, Olivia pointed her finger at the road ahead.
All the girls looked where the tip of Olivia's finger led to, and saw a red open roof sports car headed their way.
The girls' mouths dropped wide open as the super hot set of wheels pulled in.
Kevin was driving with Joe next to him, and Nick and Frankie in the back.
"Hey," Joe said, peeking over his sunglasses.
"You're. So. Hot!" Olivia said.
"Thanx," Joe smiled, pleased.
"I was talking about the car," Olivia said, giving Joe a 'Don't flatter yourself, narcissist,' kind of look.
"Oh," Joe said, slipping his sunglasses back on.
"I'm kidding, you're just as hot," Olivia smiled playfully, and kissed Joe on the cheek.
Wow, when did she learn to do that? The last time I checked, Olivia was a shy girl!
Joe smiled.
"So are you gonna let us in or what?" Briana asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Oh, right" Joe said, coming to his senses and opening the door "Hop in!"
In the front seat, Briana sat between Joe and Kevin, and Olivia sat next to Joe. And in the back, Nick sat behind Kevin, then Gabby, Maddy and Frankie.
Frankie claimed that he wanted to sit next to Gabby, but Maddy tricked him in sitting by the door so that she could keep an eye on Gabby and Nick.
She had forgiven Gabby for taking Nick -- Maddy had used Nick, and losing him was just what she deserved -- but that didn't mean she had gave up on him.
Once they were in their seats, they were off.
"You know, I'm surprised 4 people fit in the front seats" Maddy said, resting her hands leaning in on the front seat.
"Yeah we're surprised too," Kevin laughed, his eyes fixed on the road "We rented this car especially for this trip, and got a large-family size"
"Sweet," Maddy said, returning to her seat.
Nick noticed Maddy's dirty blonde hair flow in the wind, and felt his heart go a little faster. He shook this thought out of his mind. 'Nicaddy' (as he liked to call them) was over, and he needed to get over it -- he had Gabby now.
Nick casually put his arm around Gabby.
Gabby smiled, and tilted her head on his shoulder, as Nick kissed her on the head.
"I wanna listen to music!" Frankie exclaimed, jumping up and down on his seat.
"Yeah!" Briana agreed, placing a Jonas Brothers CD in the stereo.
The girls had brought a few CDs for the trip, including Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, etc...
"Please, not us," Kevin said, stopping Briana with his hand while his eyes stayed fixed on the road.
"We sing enough of it on a daily basis," Joe said, laughing "We'd like to listen to something else for a change"
"Okay," Briana shrugged, taking the CD out "So then what do you wanna listen to?"
"Fall Out Boy!" Nick exclaimed.
"Yeahhh" Maddy and Olivia said at once.
Briana put the Fall Out Boy CD in, pushed play, and the first song started.
"Number 11, please!" Nick said.
"You memorized the CD?" Briana laughed, as she shifted the tracks until it was 11.
'A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More "Touch Me"' started playing.
"Oh yeah this is a good song," Kevin said, bobbing his head to the beat as he turned the steering wheel to the right.
They all said 'Woahhh' and leaned to the right as the car turned.
They were listening to the music for a while, and soon, they could start to smell the salty sea from far ahead.

Okay when he said that, I pictured him jumping up and down like Frankie and begging them to listen to FOB. Haha I was like crying, cuz I was laughing so hard!
