A project underway in Bangladesh is bringing health care to some of the country's most inaccessible communities.

It's reaching places regular medical care doesn't always get to... because it operates from a river barge - and it's free.

Nicolas Haque reports on the Friendship project that's opeating on the Brahmaputura River.

  • Have you been to Bangladesh? I dont think so, I am not muslim, i am Christian. I went to Bangladesh and i found it full of Beautiful people, and vegitation. If you have not been please do not bash it.

  • It is rare to see people acting with such reckless careing and love for others. We should all follow this example? What would the world be like then?

  • Bangladesh is another Moslem shithole.

  • Runa Khan and Al Jazeera: Thanks so much for a nice effort for the humanritarian help. I do appreciate so much to help the destitutes and poor people. Thanks.

  • Very Nice Job. Do they have any web site? Is there a way to donate to them?

  • I was thinking about writing something like "FU GIPSIES". B/c many people here in Europe hate Greeks, Turks, and Albanians b/c they are Roma People. But when I saw that burned girl at 1:07 and old women overcome with joy at 2:10 I almost began to cry at the humanity that people can live in. I pray to god that I will be forgiven of my sins and hopefully one day will become a philanthrapist and help people like this throguhout the world :D

  • very good job. jazakallah

  • MashAllah I hope to take part in something like that.
