He's partly Indonesian from his mother's side. His mother is half Indonesian.. If you don't know, you won't see. many Dutch have Indonesian blood.. More than 300.000 people who were mixed Indonesian and Dutch migrated between 1945-1965 from Indonesia to Holland. His mother was just one of many who married a Dutch person.. Even today there a lot Dutch who don't know they have Indonesian blood. But we are all human, that's the most important fact.

it's interesting though that mark clearly states that his mom is indonesian & lopez either just doesn't hear it or brushes it off still assuming his mom is dutch. i want to watch interviews of mark talking about his indonesian heritage, i'm se asian, so i'm interested in finding out how he associates himself to this ancestry

Finally, finally i've heard him pronounce his name the way it's suppossed to. In Dutch. Does anyone know if there's a video on Youtube where he speaks Dutch?
