Actual drifting (not doing donuts) in my Trans Am
first side is a warm up second run starts with a braking drift which continues into a pendululm drift back and forth through the slalom then finishing with an inertia drift around the tornado box whiile decreasing the radius of the drift to exit the box. Thanks so much to Chris, Brad, Larry, Matt and Beaverun for teaching me how to do this.

  • @mr transamcamaro, what kind of springs and what kind of shocks do you have?

  • There is a gm tech article that provided an over view of a f-body drivers attempt to improve the 98-02's handling capability in conjunction with the strano company. The end result was nothing superior but most certainly a massive divide between the past and the future. I would definitely wish to see what the trans am/z28 would be capable of doing under similar stress tests on a course like this with the upgrade. Nice video!!!

  • @AnathemusVideos It's funny you say that because this is a Stano Performance Parts car. Sam Strano is one of my best firends and this car is set up almost identically to his multi-national championship Z-28.

  • whats up with the different wheels? throw the same kind you have up front, to the back and itll look sweet. good control too

  • you go through of lot of sets of tires drifting you bring other rims mounted. three different sets, 2 17"sets one chrome and one black and an set of black 18"s. when tires get worn down you switch to next set. watch some drift vidoes that's why you see drfift cars with two different colored rims. they're just switvhing there next set of tires. the car gets, drifted, autocrossed, and run on road courses a lot. check the other videos I have of the car.

  • very nice video! i used to like watching cars doing donuts but any rookie can do that ! cool video

  • thanks man.

  • great now do that with a toyota

  • @AnathemusVideos I'd like to read that article. Whats it called?

  • cool vid but need more flooring haha

  • hi i have a 99 trans am any suggestions to improve the handling like this i have already lowered it an 1 3/4 "

  • good decision to switch rims/tires set up in the back. too much traction in the rear in the beginning of the video, but thats probably because your tires weren't heated up yet. 5/5 at the end man that thing was well kept under control. should show up the noobs doing doughnuts in the parking lots of schools.

  • nice driving... and obviously he has different wheels on because he is using an old set of tires or etc
