one costly airplane. but the Sonerai or Cassutt are very good options for those wanting to break into crazy speed on the cheap. For about $30,000 you can get em flying, add another $20,000, and you've ready for IF1 class, doing 235-250 mph.
it's an expensive kit for sure, but not really that expensive to go fast. considering the cost of a new bonanza, an extra 300, an sr22, ovation, etc... if you've got the money to spend and don't need the seats, why not a nemesis? or, if you're on a tighter budget, a well built glassair III can be had for 150k, they'll take you there fast as well...
